Typical path:Home → People or Workboard → record → action → next step
1

Choose the right organization

If you work with more than one organization, confirm the selected organization before you trust an empty list or start an action.

Start on Home
2

Read Home before opening a menu

Home is the daily starting point. Look for new intake, follow-ups, today’s sessions, people waiting for assignment, and shortcuts into the work.

Home → attention items
3

Open the right workspace

Use People for one person’s full record, Workboard for your active queue, Programs for setup, and Calendar for sessions.

Choose the work, not just the page
4

Finish the action, then record the next step

Review the information you need, make the decision, save it, and leave a note or assignment when another person needs to continue the work.

Save before you leave
5

Check the related area before assuming something failed

Inviting someone does not place them in a cohort. Completing intake does not assign a guide. Saving a session does not book Calendly or Zoom. Check the next system or status.

Verify the handoff

Use this order for a new person

  1. Onboarding checklist: prepare, invite, send forms, review, place, assign, welcome.
  2. People: search for the existing record first.
  3. Review intake: turn answers into a decision.
  4. Programs: confirm placement, cohort, assignments, and delivery.

Use this order for your day

  1. Home for attention items.
  2. Workboard for calls, messages, and assignments.
  3. Inbox for conversations and notifications.
  4. Calendar for today’s sessions and readiness.
  5. People for the complete record when context is missing.
Rule of thumb: FORT stores the work and its relationships. It does not automatically complete every outside action. Confirm email delivery, invitation acceptance, payment-service details, and the actual meeting when those are part of the workflow.
